Surprise day of the year so far. Did 8 runs or so using the Flyer to poach the right side of the mountain. Average 4" to 8"'s in most place with still good coverage before noon. Took a look in BBP but didn't do the lines. Still looks a bit thin. Read that some others dropped in - hope it was fun! Average crowds - was expecting more. All lifts seemed open.

Got to the hill at 8am, -17°C at the base. Styrofoam snow didn't make for very fast conditions unless you has the coldest of waxes and staying away from any pow. First run down from the top of the Flyer over to Stateside was awesome on fresh corduroy. That lasted all of about 1/2 hour and the runs got fozen/icey. Looked around for some powder but every roped off run looked like it has been throughly scoured Thursday. Left by 10:30am. Slightly above average crowds by 10am. All lifts seemed open.

Praying for the two next systems to refresh the mountain !
