Hey, So this is a little late but better late then never.I was up at killington Vetrens day and the snow was actully very very nice. They had a few trails open but bascily like 3 runs with one longer one. They had a mini park and for all you rail heads there where a few of them.In the afternoon there was a light snow that made my drive down the road fun fun...( kinda lost my winter drving skill and wasn't thinking lol)So anyways that was a good day up at big K. Yesterday 11/22 I went over to jiminy peak beacuse to my suprise they where open. Lift tickets where 21 for four hours and I only stayed but 2. Within the two hours I felt liek I did 10+ runs it had to be up there. The snow was bumpy and I doubt they had groomed for a long time.It was actully very fun and even with the limited ways down, bascily one with a side trail I still had a great day.The snow in the sun was great spring snow(hi where is winter?)but none the less a good day.

P/S I just found out that first tracks is based out of loundonville NY.I've been looking at this site for years and I never knew it was from where I live, very cool.

Thanks for the report. I'm surprised that Jiminy was able to re-open after the rain and warm weather....I'm very familiar with the usual opening routine of West Way to North Glade (not a real glade folks, don't get excited) to slingshot and then 360 to 180. With the relatively new 6-pack lift, it makes it real easy to spin large amounts of laps in minimal time....a great edition to Jiminy.

I believe I'll be at Killington on Tuesday. I'll post a report.

Oh, by the way...Firsttracks used to be based out of (get this) Florida...but I think Guido (owner) decided the flattest state in the nation wasn't the best spot to run a ski website from ;)

-Scott

I was all set to go to Killington only to come down with the flu yesterday. Didn't get out of bed all day...I was out of breath just walking to the bathroom. Forget skiing with no food in the stomach for 36 hrs and being barely able to pick up my skis.

I did stop by Killington on the ride home though. They are blasting snow like crazy but they are really only hitting the snowshed and Rams Head areas for the beginners.

-Scott
