Sun and fun at the Big K today. I pulled into a 3/4 full Bear Mountain parking lot at around 10. I was purposely late to let the sun soften things up. I headed straight for Southridge. The sun had softened the moguls nicely. Lower Pipe Dream was a dream. Soft mashed potato moguls just the right size. Breakaway was sweet too along with the Jugs. I ventured over to Escape/Flume aroun noon in hopes of soft adventures but it was not to be. Hard moguls, edgeable but big and hard. After a yummy chocholate covered waffle I went back to Southridge for the soft bumps. I finished with a Skyburst to some mogul trail at the bottom of Bear. There were lift lines on the usual lifts. It was blue jay all day but the ride up Southridge was nice and cool. Sweet day of corn and a red face too.
