Got to the Bear Mountain base about noon. Temp was 35, the wind was howling, and the summit was in the clouds. They hadn't gotten nearly as much snow as had fell further south.
Took a run under the Skye Peak triple (world's slowest lift?), took another one down Cruise Control, got lost in the fog at the top of the Superstar chair and somehow ended up back at the Bear base via Great Eastern and some other trails...
We were disoriented, cold and miserable and decided to call it a day after three runs. Good thing it was on our passes and not a ticket day - I hate trying to navigate an unfamiliar area in the fog.
