reading the reports about cannon , loaf, cat , et al, i'm almost embarassed to put this up, <BR> mon and tuesday, , they got about 10 to 12 from the storm... not sure what they called it, becasue they did not see fit to put out a snow report on paper at the hill and just left up sunday's. they are calling it 17 or 18 trails ... it's really 5. ( no blacks open ) the g and seven bros 3 and the n p , 3 spinning... n p 3 got u sunset and that's it. no quad yet, but maybe by weekend. they groomed every inch of what they got, but since they don't get snow , i can't blame em... on the positive , the pack p was , pretty much percfect pp, if it was anything. i wish i had access to rivers rpt on cannon, but cannon had no updates on their phone lines... pretty crowded for a mon and tues.. g was about 30 deep from 10 to 2:30pm, but other lifts were ski on. line o' the day was from my buddy gil who noted from the side of a loon blue cruiser, after a mad pack of dogs came screaming by , "it's like a hippie convention here ". believe he was referring to the propensity of loon's typical average blue cruisers to crank up the speed on the perfect pp and toss the hips back and forth when "turning "... mon tmeps were 25 , slight wind.. tuesday went up to 30 and no wind... essential blue bird both days... we jumped in mikes way trees off the g and it was all right but pretty sketch in spots.. lower level trees still need about 12 to 18 more... my buddy gil couldn't take 3 straight days of flat skiing and made the brutal drive over to k today ( wed ) , i'll put it up after i talk to him. back next monday and tuesday, probably from k
