The overnight freeze made things pretty boiler plate on Stark Mountain. So, I was not too thrilled about doing trail check on Upper Panther. But, whaddya' know, it was very edgeable and enjoyable and the sun was rapidly softening the surface. We figured that some more softening was needed for Snail, Periwinkle/P-Bowl and S-Turn so we postponed opening those 'til 10AM. Great Spring skiing was had off of The Double! Upper Mountain off of The Single was a different story - I did not soften up very well and I stuck to the groomed Upper Antelope except for Cat Bowl. The latter softened a bit. Upper Glade skied very well. Sweep down novice Lark was wonderful.
