We found that all local powder hounds were out. About 50% of the skiers were tele, and not the traversing, floundering sort either! we saw some good skiers, and skied some nice snow. Definately a locals day--it was funny to hear people recognize each other and say "you got sick too?" It snowed all day wednesday. Then It snowed all night, and this morning I was faced with an additional 4 or 5 inches of fluff in the back of my truck. So off I went to pick up the Plaid One; then up to MRG, and they clearly had got more over night. On the drive over, I thought Wes was going to wet his green checkered diapers with the excitement of the prospect before him. Well readers, yesterday was even better than wednesday! It had snowed all night on top of the first dump. I would guess 6 additional on top of what was there from the storm day. Even better, all the local heroes who had skied off the best powder were back at work. We had at it. Wes is the master of finding powder stashes, as those of you who have skied with him in the search of powder turns can attest to. We skied some memorable woods and went down the 20 th Hole. <BR>-Don't dispair if you were staring at you monitor while all this was going on. It started lightly snowing at dusk, and the westward side of the Greens look like they will pick up a few inches. This weekend will be stellar!
