Geez, the things I do for my white collar posh stuck up dork yuppie job ...... oh well, it generates checks to buy the toys."

.... and my reward for this was that on the following day, I got to wade in slush up to my genitals on my way to my yuppie job in downtown Boston wearing on my feet nothing but socks and a pair of yuppie-Gucci-disco dress shoes that I paid $34.99 for at Payless Shoes (damn, I coulda' bought a pair of goggles for that).
But we got things done at work during the week and on Friday night, I went through the routine of hubs locked, I-89 truck stop at Purmort, refuel at the Hyde Away, ZZZZZzzzzzzz.
Saturday morning ..... uh-oh, The Single was down. The prior day, it broke which meant that all but 10 chairs had to be evacuated. So, up the Double we went. Coverage is incredible, especially for this time of year. On my check run of Panther, very soft user-friendly bumps were to be had! Soft skier packed and groomed snow was everywhere. I did not find any scratchiness anywhere except a few spots where snow was made.
For my second run, I traversed over to Ferret for a Ferret-Upper Glade run. I was baffled as to why it was closed as was an instructor who had arrived. I fixed that and got on the radio and got security clearance to remedy the Ferret situation and had a great run down Upper Glade.
Later, we waddled into some woods and hopped down another. With the exception of a small stump, everything was well covered - amazing!
That night, I resumed shovelling out the Hartford Ski Club. As the December Reservations Chairman (Skip, check it out - I'm moving up the ladder in skiing), I assigned myself that chore for the weekend for Gawd only knows what reason. I did that in 4 sessions - Saturday morning, Saturday night, Sunday morning and right before I left on Sunday.
Sunday was uneventful, but pleasant with all of the PPP conditions (Perfect Packed Powder). We did do some lift evac practice in teh afternoon around the Tower 10 ledges in order to work on lessons learned from Friday.
Good off-piste skiing was to be had! Sweep was pleasant and I took my time to throughly check the sides of trails and in the established tree lines.
