Well, it was Hell on the highway which meant ??Heaven on The Mountain! The upper part of Gazelle was a bit disappointing with a bit of crust underneath. But on the second run, I headed for my favorite off-piste line and got some huge stretches of untracked where it opens up. Off-piste was outstanding ? I even discovered what appears to be a new line and tried some new woods. Even towards the days end, I found untracked in visible woods lines. I gave some Connecticut Traprock climbers some beta on an off-piste tour which they were happy about when I ran into them later. I was exhausted at the end of the day and thought I was gonna? drop dead at the bottom of Gazelle Woods on sweep.

Went to the Telefest Party afterwards where the floor was shaking, had a buncha? beers and then I almost got lost on the 200 yard journey back to the bunkhouse where I collapsed in a heap at around 9:00PM.

Today, 68 year old patroller Monk dropped a 20 footer off the Tower 5 ledge  . Outstanding packed powder everywhere. I did Liftline on sweep which is a trail I often overlook which is a shame ?cuz it is such a fun ski. Good snow always collects beneath the Tower 10 ledges there.

The skiing is outstanding up North.
