Another friend-of-a-friend was at Mammoth after this week's storm of 26 inches of slightly drier snow followed last week's 56 inches of Sierra Cement. There was lots of wind with this one, and he reported wind-sifted dry snow over most of the ungroomed. Skiing is excellent and the base is deep, so this snow is not going away.
