Headed down to the Bowl to get a couple hours of skiing in. The Bowl is our favorite ski area close to home to ski on holidays. We arrived to find a full parking lot which was due to the northern regional HS races. We watched the races while we booted up.
Got on the Worth Mtn. Chair to head over to the backside. Snowing heavily and very windy. Took Meredith down the triple. They had groomed over night and there was a good 4-6" on top of that. I stuck to the edge of the trail where they had not groomed to find a good 6+ " of light, fluffy, powder. Skied a couple runs on the triple - Youngman & Meredith again. Found fresh tracks each run.
My bf was hungry so he headed to the lodge while I did some laps off the Sheehan trail-Lang, Cameron, Glades etc. Lots of light pow.
My boyfriend and I were planning on heading back up the Worth Mtn Chair to check out Ross & Proctor, but the chair had been put on wind-hold. We ended up deciding to do some more laps on Sheehan before calling it a day.
The good:
-Snow. Nice light, fluffy snow. Winter has finally arrived.
-No lift lines. Was crowded, but was for the race. Ski on lift each time.
-The price.
-The addition to the lodge - very nice.

The bad:
-can't control mother nature, but was windy and Worth Mtn had to go on wind hold.

Sorry, no pics.
