Expectations for today : 0
Great surprises of today : 285 429
Pics to come (when I'll have them, in 1-2 weeks) : 23

Very small mountain : 482' high, 11 official trails, 1 quad and 1 t-bar.

You can see why my expectations were about nothing. But I can actually say that I really prefered this mountain to Owl's Head (1772' high, 43 trails and a bunch of lifts)

The trails : A0 = Completely Crazy new glade. I will have a great pic of a "new friend" on the top of a cliff in it ! A lot of chutes into this glade, but it will need a little bit more snow to be at its best.

A1 = The Crête. This is the first trail I skied. Amazing, simply Amazing. This is a twisty supersteep, narrow extreme wild thing super trail.

There was some quite nice steep trails... groomed, in powder, bumped. I had the choice. There was a super nice cliff to jump (about 10-15' high, depending of the place where you were landing). With a steep landing, it was very nice to do ! There was few ungroomed/wild beginner/intermediate trails and there was some spots in many places on the mountain.

The people were super nice and I hope to keep contact with a couple of people with who I skied today, with the Zoneski website.

Crowd : Low
Ice : No
Fresh Powder : 3-4"

I can ensure you that at 4PM, I was really feeling sad that the day was over. I don't know if I will ski back there in my life, but a sure thing is that I'm never going to forget this day, one of the best day of my 2003-04 season !
