Day 2 of ski for me this season !
Just a couple runs into the Nordique & West 70 after working at Alta earlier.
We advanved in a new trail at Alta (Eric and me), where there was 6" deep snow near the top (2" at base). After that, we went to MSS, where there was no natural snow remaining (less high in elevation + not in the snowbelt of the Laurentians), but the snowmaking patches were still enough nice to ski even though the junctions melted since thursday, due to rain.
But as soon as they can restart their snowguns, it won't be long to make both West 70 and Nordique all white !
A few pics :
1 at Alta in the snow (about 3-4" there, at mid-mountain) in the Superspeed still with many brushes...
1 pic of ski at St-Sauveur (Eric going down the lower West70)
And why not a little video of rail jump in the lower nordique (sorry, just in french this time
)
