Much heavier crowds today in nice weather. 10-15 minute line at the Summit Express.
It had snowed another 2-3" since the lifts stopped Saturday, for a total of 6-8" of very light snow.
Uncle and Uncle's Woods were the trails of the day. Again, the patrol had thoughtfully reserved the trail and we had it to ourselves all day. Beautiful floaty turns in the morning, and soft chopped powder in the afternoon. Nice coverage in the woods, though there is still quite a bit of brush poking through.
No hint of yesterday's 4" down rain crust was evident. Aside from one trip under lift 9 and a run down Ridge at the end of the day, we stayed on Uncle's all day. Why leave snow that good to go exploring?
