Hi Folks,

I NEED YOUR HELP!!!

I am wondering what to ask from Santa's in Jeffersonville, NH (especially that the exchange rate is better).

Looking on getting some vintage ski videos from the New England Ski Museum (skimuseum.org). Wondering if any of you have some or/and can suggest on what I should get next?

I heard from the museum that they are discontinuing some videos because they weren't selling.

I wanted to get The Rhythm of Snow, unfortunately it was discontinued. This 1940s film with the Toni Matt, the Wurtele twins and other skiing great at Mt. Assiniboine (Banff) was discontinued. I would love to get this one.

These are the videos I have:

Legend of American Skiing - documentary *****
Thrills and Spills - ****
White Chase (with Hannes Schneider) - amazing 1930s film - *****
Dr. Schitz on Mont Washington - ***
Ravine - **
NESM Sampler - **

I noticed they had the Blizzard of Ahhhs, however I would like to get this one on DVD if it exists.

Blizzard of Ahhhh's with Glen Plake. The movie that inspired me to learn to ski. I quit about a month after I bought all the gear though. Threw it all down cellar and left it there for many years.

Only have ever seen it out on videotape though. You could try amazon.com, they would probably have it listed.

Found this one:

Available on DVD for the first time, this collector's edition box set includes the four most critically acclaimed ski titles from film maker Greg Stump. Blizzard of Ahhh's, License to Thrill, Groove Requiem: In The Key Of Ski, P-Tex, Lies, and Duct Tape, showcase the skiing talent of Scot Schmidt, Glen Plake, and others to the backdrop of awesome powder and steeps and a truly fantastic soundtrack featuring the music of acclaimed British producer Trevor Horn. Greg's unique brand of humor is added fun that have made his films so popular for so long... just push play and crank it up!

Talk about some classic kick @ss movies.

Yes, I did find the Blizzard on DVD after I wrote this. However, you have the buy the 4 DVD pack to get it.

Anyway, it's on my Christmas wish list.

Yea, I did not see it for sale by itself but I did not hunt very long either. I think that it just made it to my list for this year as well. Those have to be 4 of the best Ski movies ever. I am a huge Warren Miller fan but Greg Stump really has a way of making a fantastic film.
