Just saw this reading an article about the new "airline war" that's breaking out in LAX. Sounds like a great thing for LA flyers. Reading some stuff I see that AA is adding a non-stop to Bend. I looked up flights, the flight to Bend is great, 6:50pm take off means you can work a full day and not have a travel day on the way out. Flight back at 8:10am is just ok, you land at 1030am so by the time you get your skis and get to work it'll be noon, not bad but it's at least a 1/2 day off of work.
Now, I bought a Mountain Collective Pass this year so I'm unlikely going to make the trip this year so hopefully it's around in two years.
