I climbed the south side of Tremblant at least 40-50 times in my life, but today was the very first day that I hiked B2T the north side ! It was fun, cause I've not seen a single person of all my way up (I appreciate the calm and to be alone, when I'm off in the mountains). <BR> <BR>So I hiked the 2 new trails of the side, although they're separated by a big distance. <BR> <BR>The 1st new trail is on the lower mountain, between the Dynamite and the Windigo/Fuddle Duddle. (the right one on this pic) <BR> <BR><IMG SRC="http://www.firsttracksonline.com/discus2/messages/8/2730.jpg" ALT="new trails"> <BR> <BR>It's more a blue run than a black one, but it will be a fun sustained one, with a 90 degrees curve. Snowmaking T2B, so it's a great new, cause they will be able to open the Windigo later in the season, as the very lower part of Fuddle Duddle is used to lose its snow enough fast in the spring. <BR> <BR>This trail have 750' high and about 2500' long <BR> <BR>The lower part <BR><IMG SRC="http://www.firsttracksonline.com/discus2/messages/8/2731.jpg" ALT="The new trail"> <BR> <BR>The upper part with already some grass growing... <BR><IMG SRC="http://www.firsttracksonline.com/discus2/messages/8/2732.jpg" ALT="The new trail 2"> <BR> <BR> <BR>Now, the other trail is less good for me. They did a trail (completely on left, on the pic of the north side) left to Geant, on the trail map, so they had to cut an enough good length of the CBC trail and this is a very bad new for me. At least, it still ends in the Geant, after the end of the new trail, but all the midway part near the Geant have been destroyed and they didn't cut a new pass to stay in the trail at this place.
