No reports from the weekend?

Where is everyone?

I was hoping someone might be able to tell me what happened to the snowpack this weekend.

Is everyone still hung-over from BMMC?

yea, i also noticed no reports this weekend. though what's to report that we already don't know? saturday obviously was a complete wash out and not worth skiing. then sunday was set up horribly... so bad that cannon didn't even operate (my original sunday plan). i actually drove up the notch en route to StJ and passed cannon in the AM and PM. in the AM, i said to myself "well, that's worse than i had expected but not too too bad." when driving home in the PM i said: "HOLY CRAP THAT SUCKS!"

stowe or cannon for me this saturday. hard to decide as i'd like one more rip at cannon, but it won't be worth it if certain lines aren't open (mid-hard, zommer, paulie's, and ideally mitt on the long shot) vs. stowe (an area i have always wanted to ski but haven't due to price) on a really cheap ticket.

i have having to make destination desitions on the basis of "which will suck less." there's always tuck i guess, but i'd like to max out the lift serviced while i can.

Saturday had definately interesting conditions (snow and weather) at Mad River Glen. Managed 7 runs, hope my clothes and gloves are going to be dry for this weekend.

Ice pellets and high wind + rain makes it a painfull experience (in the face).

try those ice pelets at the top of mount washington coming at 100 miles an hour haha it was awesome

I sense the need for a post to a new topic here...
