Oct 22nd: Sutton, QC --> Back on the board!

After a day of hiking in the snow at Mt. Mansfield yesterday (kicking myself for not bringing a board), i had to check out the snow at Sutton. I read report of a solid 8in and up to a foot of snow in some areas. October snow is my favorite snow... so i had to sample that stuff!

So after a few e-mails and a few phone calls, i finaly found a couple of "crazy kids" who wanted to try the white stuff as much as me. Celine has been arressing us with her "white dreams" for the past 2 months... So she was quick to respond to the invite. There was also a group from ZoneSki that were going to be there.

Expect a link to a movie since i filmed a lot... We'll show it later once it's edited. Here are the pics:

Nice Big Jay.

Pics and a mapped out route and vertical from a GPS.

WOW, that what I call reporting guys (I'm including River in this as he did the same in his Jay report)!!!

alright, you convinced me. no more "next years," i need to get up to sutton!! those trails and trees look mighty nice and that snow is excellent as well. and a center pole double, what could be better than that?

nice, trip report!

Unfortunately, there are also a few quads also. But yes, it's a nice place and not to far from your place and definately cheaper than Vermont.
