Wowzers.

A foot of light, dry fluff that hadn't been drifted by any wind (i.e., it was perfectly even and consistent), 350 tickets sold the whole day, the comraderie of good friends, everything open, and groomers that only rolled the green circle catwalks. Does it get any better than this? It hasn't yet for me this season.

It's all a white blur for me this morning, for even walking to the coffee pot hurts. Can't wait to write the story and produce the video...we shot some terrific roll yesterday.

Marc, what a great day yesterday. I'm glad I hooked up with Alan and got a chance to meet you guys. I agree it was my best day yet this season. After you went in for lunch we continued to ski glade after glade and eventually wound up in Birdland; too little pitch and alot of snow made for straightline runs thru the trees. Sick stuff. Alan and I went back to Hunter and skied a run just to make sure we made the right decision on where to ski...it wasn't even close! Hope we can do this again soon. Give my best to Dan, Will, and Bill. You guys make a great crew!

Jim, we followed your tracks into...and out of...Birdland. As a walk in the woods it was lovely, but as an alpine ski experience, well...

Agreed...I think we missed the main entry point into those glades further up the work road in. There just wasn't enough pitch where we dropped in.
