Recommendations for Spring skiing (1st week of April 200

We're planning a family ski vacation for spring break next year. Unfortunately it falls during the first week of April. <BR> <BR>Previously we've skied at Copper Mountain during this time and skiing has been pretty good. <BR> <BR>Any other recommendations for early spring skiing out west? Since we haven't been anyplace else this late in the year we prefer to target a place that historically indicates a high probability of having decent snow and conditions. <BR> <BR>Have given consideration to the Heavenly/Tahoe area. <BR> <BR>Looking forward to any suggestions. <BR> <BR>thanks, <BR> <BR>Rick
 
Tuckerman Ravine New Hampshire is one of my favorite late season family resorts.....
 
I assume that you want something out West, so I'd say Alta/Snowbird or possibly A-Basin/Loveland/Breck. Jackson Hole is definitely worth considering too. <BR> <BR>At that time of year, I'd imagine (from previous trips) that the snow is fairly hit & miss; I've gotten 50s all week in shorts & sunny skies & 30-40" of powder in that week, different years. <BR> <BR>Another good place to consider would be Whistler/Blackcomb; the US dollar goes further up in Canada.
 
Anywhere in Canada should be good in early april, in particular banff/lake louise, whisler and big white
