Today, I went to Mt Shefford, in the townships. As always, in that ski area, it was a powder day. There was powder all over the upper mountain, but the snow wasn't completely dry, so it was really good, but not heaven. This time, la "Zero" was open, with "la Coulee", just beside. Those trails are some of the most special ones that I ever took. The first has a beginner rating, but it's a wild intermediate bump run that is everything except a beginner trail and it's probably the best powder trail I ever took, as there is always good powder to ski there ! The second, la Coulee is the only trail I know that have 2 natural ramp into it, with full of ledges on both sides of the first one... a real little heaven and it was super nice today !

The glades and other natural trails were mostly good, but in the off-trails, the snow was a little bit more heavy, so less interesting today. Nevertheless, I went back in the big headwall I found last month.(http://www.firsttracksonline.com/discus2/messages/16/1796.html?1041386137) The sad thing about it is that it's so steep that almost all the snow leave in a kind of little avalanche, when the first skiers goes in... so it's a place you can only go after a snowfall... and not with 10 skiers !!

Finally, it was a real great day, in general, with sun, nice snow, no waiting... and 12$ for adult lift ticket ! When you think Bromont, just beside, ask over 40$ for a day, and there is over 20 minutes of waiting on midweek (I just don't imagine during weekend) and the trails are super crowded. Personnaly, I really prefer to suffer in the Shefford's t-bars !!

PS : sorry Marc, I know I was supposated to not do great ski this week ;))
