Has anyone skinned up and skied the old Ski Wing/Grosstal ski area off of West Five Mile Rd. in Allegany, NY? I grew up very near there and it had a pretty good pitch. Not sure how grown up it is since it hasn't operated since the early 80's. The last time I was up there in the summer one of the trails was completely filled in with evergreens but the stuff from the top looked fairly open. Vertical is about 800 ft. I believe it is still privately owned but not sure if access is restricted.
