Overall, I am not really interested in snow forecasting. There are so many sites and models, and some even do a decent job.
However, I have grown tired of inflated, inaccurate snowfall data from pervasive, cheap, easy-to-plug-in API services. These are the culprits:
I am interested in the facts around a storm, so I decided to bypass all of the above and just web/data/html scrape the following attributes I am interested in:
I created different apps with tools from Lovable, Anthropic, OpenAI, and others. Basically, I'm making dashboards with drill-down details.
I picked about 30-40 resorts to focus on in the Southern Hemisphere in Chile, Argentina, New Zealand, and Australia.
Again, snow arrived really late everywhere in the Southern Hemisphere, so I'm still working with limited data and results.

However, I want to be able to answer questions:
Anyway, I am playing around with how to show most of the snow conditions below. Operational interest is only in expert-oriented lifts/slopes that open less often. Examples: Las Lenas, Portillo, Nevados de Chillán, Corralco, etc
In North America, I might be interested in Fernie's Polar Peak lift, Squaw's Silverado, Crested Butte's North Face terrain. The Alps, mostly if specific lifts are open/closed.

- How often was Mt Hutt essentially closed?
