I drove from Albany to Burlington today...taking I87 north to exit 28 and then RT 74 across from Schroon Lake to Ticonderoga and then over the Crown Point Bridge into VT.
Signs of things to come...cars with snow on them in Albany:
Stopped off exit 23 of the Northway in Warrensburg for some photos:
And RT 74 from the northway (I87) to Ticonderoga:
Driving down into the Champlain Valley the snow disappeared and temps rose into the low 40's in Ticonderoga.
