Hello everyone! Well, whether we like it or not it looks as though winter is coming to an
abrupt halt, unless something dramatic changes. So, let’s talk spring skiing. Tuckerman’s, obviously. Mt. Clay this year? Maybe. Depends on whats going on and how it looks as time goes on. Who is heading up to Tux for 2+ day trips (not day-trips) this spring and when?

Also, I was wondering whether anyone had any information on the Monts Chic Chocs (Monts McGerrigle & Mont Albert) or Gros Morne (Blow Me Downs & Table Lands) and surrounding areas (other than the stuff on FTO and skimovies.com). Is anyone heading out there? I was thinking I might do a killer road trip out to the Chic Chocs. It would take forever from down here in CT. Any takers?

I was also wondering if anyone knows anything about King Ravine. Ive looked at the topos and stuff, and its looks steep with crazy gullies and stuff, and it faces north, so one would think that it kept the snow pretty good. I took some pictures of it early last June, from the road, but didn’t venture up there. This picture is crappy, but Ill scan a higher resolution one post it as soon as I can. There’s some pretty good looking, STEEP gullies. I just wonder if the snow is deep enough to be worth it.

This Pic is from rte 2:

Yeah, so if anyone has any thoughts or ideas, let it fly!
~Leszek
**waiting for the corn harvest**
