What can I say? Mansfield didn't pick up the 2-5" I was forecasting today as it just spit flurries and quick bursts of snow that didn't accumulate (I saw Killington is reporting 7" new, so I'm not sure what happened as I haven't seen a radar from this morning and afternoon) but it has picked up several bouts of snowfall since the weekend. The skiing is good. It'll only get better. I'm excited. Best skiing was in low angle woods where the supportable crust was masked nicely under 6-7" of surprisingly dense snow (not dust on crust I was expecting). Another 6-8" of snow and Mansfield will be going off again.

There's a lot of snow up there.
