The "Front Four" expert runs at Stowe are challenging to find open nearly anytime during the ski season. However, all four, including most of the 'upper' parts, are ready today.
Stowe Opening Day 2025-26 is exceptional!
Typically, Liftline and National are available anytime since they have snowmaking and have been widened to enable grooming. One can find Goat and Starr (middle, lower) at times during a season. The upper parts of Goat and Star are rarely open, maybe only after the largest blizzards. Upper Goat has a nasty double fall line, and Upper Starr is a rocky, steep headwall where snow does not stick all that well.
