Beautiful Day to go skiing...4-6" new sounds about right. Stopped in the
Stone Hut but didn't see anyone, just a fire going and some snacks and
gatorade on the table. How'd everyone's night go up there?

Lots of crowds here today...just a usual Tuesday morning at 9am at Stowe.
Empty gondi after empty gondi...

Nice Day though didn't hike as Dave had a class at 2pm and we didn't want
to be rushed so we just found some powder to ski to pass the time.

Couldn't complain about the skiing. Definitely a rock solid crust under
foot but skied like someone groomed the woods and then threw 6" of snow on
top. Lots of smoke.

We broke trail out to the Bypass Chutes and then skied one after another
filled with untracked powder. Here's an action shot of Dave dropping into
one:

Its amazing how long powder stays completely untracked on a Tuesday
morning. Life skcus when you can ski every Tuesday and Thursday ;)

Some sweet lines in the Lookout woods:

Life definitely could be worse. Considering two weeks of warmth and niar
I'd say Mansfield is skiing quite good. Another shot of snow before I go
back on Thursday should cover our tracks back up. We could always use a
huge 2 foot dump but the little ones add up...especially when no one is
there to ski it.
