The bad news: Castle Rock and North Lynx were both closed and a competition kept half of Down Spout restricted (as though 'Death Spout' isn't congested enogh. The good news there was some fresh snow, many trails were open and the conditions were pretty good. Rip Cord was open and offered bumps that weren't frozen. Organ Grinder and Jester were both in good shape. I didn't enjoy the Spillsville bumps which were icy troughs and widely spaced moguls.

Lexi Twist, Mall and Moon Shine had thin cover, but the bumps and troughs were edgeable. I did some trees off of Spring Fling that held some powder but were boney and Sleeper Woods were about the same. The snow guns were blasting on Birdland and Murphy's Glade laying down some fluffy faux sneaux.

Sugarbush delivered another good ski day accepting the type of weather we've had so far this season.
