Just a quick one, because this really doesn't compare much to the macho skiing and pictures from Stowe, MRG etc, but we had a great day-trip with the family up to Sunapee yesterday (and it's all about getting it when you can). The conditions at Sunapee were very, very, very good - super-deep base, nothing showing through, with another 6-8 inches of light snow before we left at 5pm. And no lift-lines at all - everybody disappeared home early because of the snow, I guess.

The kids had a blast, skiing everywhere they wanted, looking for jumps and playing in the new snow. Mom and Dad pretty much did the same. Traded places - one skiing with the boys and the other taking our 4-year old out to get her started on skis. One of my boys asked me what we were going to do if the little one didn't like skiing - no easy answer to that question, but she seems to be liking it so far.

Like I said, nothing other than a great family ski-day, so maybe a bit tame for the board, but wanted to encourage all the Bostonians to get out and enjoy it while you can - the conditions in Central/Southern VT/NH are among the best I've ever experienced right now.
