I'm all caught up in the excitement of the new snow! Some mtns. still have tree islands in the middle of their trails. This adds great character to a trail. Also, some skiers may have difficulty making quick turns on tight gladed trails. This would be a great option for them. It would also allow more snow to stay on the trail(natural or not) There are a few at PICO. I think MRG is loaded with them. Any other places? Your thoughts are welcome. Cheers, John.
