Tremblant - April 7

Since the weather was looking nice, I thought it'd be nice to skip class and go skiing... It was about +4 C apparently, but felt alot warmer -- I was skiing in a tshirt (perhaps I was deluded into thinking it was warm....) The Duncan lift didn't run all day, who knows why. CBC (closed) was in pretty bad shape, so I guess it was sensible that it was closed... the middle of the trail was all bare but the sides were skiable still. Tunnel (closed) was actually in decent shape, but rather boring since it wasnt bumped up at all. I stuck to Expo the rest of the day, and checked out Windigo (also closed) which had a pretty hard crusty surface on top of the bumps and a sloppy few centimeters of old snow filling the troughs. Expo was warm and sunny, and the bumps were getting bigger, but really tiring. We didnt last more than 4-5 laps on Expo before calling it a day... Expo has pretty good cover except for directly under the lift, but it doesnt look like this will be the best spring for Tremblant unless it snows more somehow. Cheers

-Sven
