I was at Tremblant wednesday, with my training group (accountants group, not ski group...)

I must say that I talked with Jean-Luc Brassard thursday at a bar in the village... very cool

(It's the mogul world cup this weekend at Tremblant).

So I skied wednesday morning, as we had 4h of ski on the program. Here are the nice trails I did :

Tunnel : NICE ! moguls all the way, soft snow on hard base, but still quite nice and it was the first time in about 10 years that I was seeing it bumped !

OK, I DON'T have pics, cause I bought a single use camera... I won't have the time to develop the film before to leave for Rouyn-Noranda, so I don't know when I'll have the pics

Émotion : Nice as usually... the best snow of the mountain was on the Edge side.

Sous-bois Haute-Tension (± shown on map) : very nice after the pitch of the Haute-Tension ! Super nice backcountry kind glade. I didn't ski Jay since 1998, but it reminds me a little bit of the glade "Vertigo" but with the less steep part, cause the Tremblant's glade avoid the steep first pitch of the Edge side.)

Windigo : icy a bit, but still some nice bumps

Buzz : quite nice !! The face trails of Expo side were closed for snowmaking or preparing the world cup !

Griffe (new trail) : Cool to ski on a new trail, but it was not some super conditions in it...

Supérieur (new trail) : Nice conditions, but it really killed a lot of charm of the CBC trail.

The CBC was open, but really su**ed. Super icy, THEY PASSED A GROOMER IN THE TRAIL, FEW DAYS AGO (ARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH). Even the Boiling Kettle was groomed, but I didn't take it.

On the Soleil Side, the glades were closed, but I took the Brasse Camarade which was quite nice and the Jamme was the only one open and was very correct.

The south side was enough boring, but I took the Simon Cooper at the end of the day ! What an incredible trail, but hey... no snow... The long steep part of the trail, there was less than 4" of snow on the ground. So I really had to remove my skis and to walk down. I put back my skis after, but it was really really thin. At least, the first ½ mile was quite nice !

Tuesday night, I hiked the mountain illegally. I got a great idea to not be seen and it was so comic to do. I should write it to remind me of the trick ! lol ! I skied down the Curé Deslauriers which was closed. It was impossible to go very high in the mountain, cause there was a TON of employees, grooming and checking the ice-making production. At least, I found back the old trail "St-Bernard which is closed for decades now. It looks still skiable, but where does it leads ?

Going to do my Alta's report for today !
