While the Participation Trophy is somewhat funny, many other things our President has started are not.
CNN listed Trump's worst predictions on his war in Iran including the 20% toll on ships traveling the Strait of Hormuz that includes:
"In other words: It seemed wholly impractical. And sure enough, just a day later,
Trump reversed himself.
That the president would even float something so extreme and difficult suggests he’s not terribly clued in on what’s feasible. CNN reported Tuesday that advisers
scrambled to talk him out of the idea."
and
"Trump predicted early on that the war
would be brief, repeatedly projecting it would last “four to five weeks.”
and
"on March 8, Energy Secretary Chris Wright said gas prices would be back under $3 per gallon “before too long.”
I was surprised how quickly Costco gas prices in my area rose when 'ceasefire' ended last week. After peaking at $5.39 at San Jose Costcos late April- early June (I paid $5.49 on 5/1 in Santa Clara), I paid $4.79 on 7/7 at Costco near my Mom's house where regular is now $5.19. We filled my wife's car at Business Costco close to our house on 7/8 for $4.93 that has surprisingly dropped to $4.89.
Not sure I wanted to get started on my taxes paying for ICE to kill illegal (Texas) and legal (Maine) people who are working in our country in the last week. Not only are they not wearing bodycams we are paying for and they are supposed to be wearing they appear to be covering up/lying about what happened.
And Trump says ICE should resume traffic stops after his own administration suspended them.
