waterville on wed- we were guessing that the WV frestyle team that started cutting in lines last week were allowed to keep em- we guessed right :P . a legit middle section of a comp course of about 20 bumps and 2 lines were in on tyler too trail ( funny though- no mention of it on the web site trail report  ) but at least they have em in and you have to give em credit for keeping it open to the public , not that there would not have been 3 angry people in the gm's office if it was roped off :D . perfect bumps... space wise and even left right turns... icy troughs but pure powder for the moguls... very professional job. 2 small airs at the end. temps were tolerable as no wind until late in the day. very uncrowded :P we sessioned it the whole day. WV freestyle didn't show up so we had our own private run pretty much all day ( what a surprise- does anyone ski moguls anymore?? ) everything else appeared to be groomed flat with pretty much perfect PP fake. they have a nice jib park set up on bottom with 4 or 5 user easy boxes and rails
Loon on thurs- should have went back to WV. nice snow for the am. all smashed flat of course  . they are blowin hard everywhere. G, np and wq were spinning. WB off the np is t to b but that's it over there. spun laps off the wq all day. traffic really takes a toll on loon as by 1 , all the fake was pushed off and large sections slick were showing. temps were about 15 with a little more wind but still not bad. no bumps to keep warm on though makes it tough ( how do people ski in this weather and not ski bumps just to stay warm :P ) crowds were more than WV day before and got worse after 1pm. there is no reason loon does not have , at this time, a section of bumps like wv does... they have the same snow budget and base- fake and real, same water access pretty much, same terrain available.. no excuses. they have managed , however to have at least 15 hits/jibs with 2 tables of at least 15 feet ... it really is a joke
new WC 06 comp mogul videos are out form this past weekend in france

I ask this same question frequently; it's the only way to warm up on a cold day unless you start hiking somewhere.
