went to WV on wed on a hunch that they might have some bumps and maybe thinking we might run into dan dipiro. they didn't we didn't, but did meet a group of bumpers and their head coach he works with at WV. it was about 5 at the summit with very high winds so the WC must have been well below zero... no lines , no crowds. they had 2 or three ways down on rock solid frozen fake of the quad. that top of the hill lift was spinning but didn't even bother. after running into the WV freestyle team we tried to help them out cutting out some ruts for bumps on a trail segment of frozen ice chips. god bless em though , it was a lost cause...
hit loon on thurs.. temps were much better at about 20 and no wind and blue sky. snow was , in all honesty, much better. not sure if it was cause they had 12 more hours to make snow , but the quality was a lot better... everything off the gondy and 3 or 4 ways down. no lines no crowds till noon when the race teams showed up and human slalom starts :roll: . they opened lower walking boss by noon. would guess they will have upper boss running by sat with the n p Quad. they are blowin hard on the west too. again all flat. there was about 3 inches of fake piling up on lower picked from the guns that were running so if you picked your way down u could avoid getting hit in the face with they guns as they have tower guns on that .
