The tough go shopping.
What Admin didn' t mention in his post on Alta 2/9/07 was that he didn't ski with us in the morning because he went to the REI sale and bought $600 worth of stuff for $200.
Marc_C, Amy, Pam and I continued skiing after Admin left and we did a few laps in Ballroom, since it held the best snow. We also traversed way around and hit Susie's Trees. We also skied a few good bumps n trees off Wildcat and a few other places I can't recall the names.
We skied until 4:45, then had a beer to celebrate the end of a fantastic week of skiing with friends in Utah. I have to thank both Marcs for skiing with us today, even if conditions were less than fantastic by Utah standards. Even though it may be low snow, the skiing was far superior to anything we'd ski back home and we had some wonderful days on the slopes of Utah as well as Idaho.
The 3 of us girls were envious of Admin's shopping spree, so we headed down the canyon and went right to REI and bought ourselves some sale booty and some gifts for our loved ones back home who kept things rolling for us while we were away.
Time to pack up and prepare for departure from The Promised Land. Back to the wicked cold ice box they call central NY.
