Not more than 5-6" in Barnes Cors.
It was not ideal amounts of snow, but it was sufficient for a nice coupla hours out.
We thought about going to Winona, but sometimes its tough to figure who got more snow b/c the lake effect bands are so localized. Turned out a musher lost his dogs that day in Winona (was all over Syr news, you may have seen it). All the dogs were recovered. One didn't make it alive. But a 90% survival rate with subzero temps isn't too bad. The DEC located the pack via helicopter. From the video on the news of Winona, it looks like they may have coupla more inches. More lake effect will fall today. I'm going to check out Greek Peak tonite for the first time of the season. A little night skiing is in order, since temps will be warming up into the 20s.
