Whistler New Years Day!

Big Powder Day here in whistler. It was snowing really really really hard. The snow was a bit wetter than Utah Powder, but the Alpine was closed due to Visibility, so I'm not sure what the snow was like up a couple thousand feet. Anyhow, I spent a lot of time in the trees due to the flat light conditions. I had a real break-through today in my technique. I've never made such tight turns in the trees before in such deep and wet powder. The only issue was that the visibility became really bad (white-out), and the wet powder was sticking to my goggles. Then I noticed that my goggles were fogging between the lenses.
After skiing a bit more many of the best lines had skied out, and with the crappy visibility, and the fact that the alpine was closed, I decided to call it a day and save my legs for tomorrow when the alpine opens. It should be really good, as the weather is supposed to clear up by tonight! Again, pictures will come when I get back home.
