Wow, what a difference 16" makes. I left Sunday 3:30 am and it snowed all day Monday and all night. The entire mountain is deeply covered. This mountain is completely different with lots of snow. I started with powder shots and ended with them. There was no need to look into the woods and risk an injury. Everything was incredible. Cheers, John

You think skiing in the woods risks injury? Have you ever skied below a jump lip? Whatever, what in the world is a powder shot?

Let's be mindful of tone, please. There's more than one way to ask a question or state a point.

It's too bad you don't know what a powder shot is. If you must know, it is when water, in the solid state is mixed with ample amounts of air thus making the water in the solid state very fluffy. Now, when an outside force applied by me causes enough force to move this "powder" it is light enough to be pushed into the air. Then I ski into it. Hence a powder shot. And as for not skiing in the woods, I have a family and look forward to skiing with them for many years to come. My God. Cheers, John

anyone think there's still good snow to be had up there? Might make a trip up to NH on Sat and wondering who's got the best stuff or if I should head into VT...
