With much anticipation and college station dance music I headed to Wildcat. It was a site to be seen as all the diehards are just watching the the hill from the warm third floor waiting to wait in line at 8:15. Well my friends, the top third was ALL windblown with no new net coverage but the bottom third was just fine once a few runs broke the top crusty inch. Gondi line was a definate no, no as just making it down in one piece was the goal. However, the top to bottom run of the day was UPPER LYNX - ALS FOLLY - CATERNARY. From Als down was very sweet and it made me recommit myself to the gym and work the legs 4 days a week and upper 2 days a week. The Spring is going to be great at the Cat as the bottom two third has a good base. My experience paid off as I chose not to play Hooky on Friday. Everything was shut down by noon and I just new there wasn't going to be enough there to begin with. Now the next big dump is going to be the sick day. I was supposed to stay at the ski club tonight but I headed home instead. One must be wise when their spouse doesn't understand the drug-like addiction of skiing. Better days will come, but it was good.

So doesnt sound that could im suprised i thought it would be awsome with 2 ft of new snow, or was that lie.

the wind blew all the new snow at the top right into the woods. I bet at the bottom two thirds there's a solid 16", no more. The glades have three to four feet of snow, however it is very wind blown and dangerous. A 40 degree day in the woods would be great.
