Wildcat trying to open

Bet they're burning up the phones trying to round up enough bodies to pull it off. Ticket office, food services, patrol, mechanics, lifties, grooming, tower pads, bamboo, ropes, more bamboo, more bamboo, more bamboo...

Opening is a lot of work.

Apparently the electricity is out, I wish them all the best. IF they are willing to put the effort to open then I will put the effort to get there. (or whoever can make it)

C R A Z Y, I'm working overtime on Sunday... just a 6 hours drive away.

It still is, and the phones, too. Their marketing director called me from her home an hour or two ago where she has to work today because there's nothing available up on the hill, utility-wise. They're actually shooting for a Friday opening, but will know more tomorrow.

i had suspected someone would lead the charge for this weekend. i figured wildcat would be the best bet. not to surprising to me as wildcat's money isn't made with the resort stuff, but rather with cold hard lift tickets, food, and beer. if they are open, you can bet they will be filling that quad all day long for top to bottom on some of the best 2k vertical in NH. this will force kmarts hand if they go for it.... maybe.

btw, marc, you should update the article in regards to cannon (not in vt ;) ). i can now confirm over a foot mid-mountain with many drifts nearly 2' deep. i would say mid- mountain average was 14" at my best guess but at least a foot above the zoomer chair pretty much everywhere. a lot more to come on that one...

:D
