Win a free trip to Whistler!

Edit: I received a telephone call this morning from the poster above who initiated this topic as an employee of the marketing firm promoting this contest for A&E, apologizing for any misunderstanding. I assured the caller that First Tracks!! Online Ski Magazine takes no issue with any entity responsible for this event posting a promotional announcement for this event on Liftlines, as long as it's not done in a manner intended to deceive our users. As the original poster has edited his original post to accommodate our concerns, I have likewise edited my response accordingly.

I belong to an internet ski froum, and somebody masquerading a skier has been spamming our site, promoting an event that you are sponsoring. The IP address of said spammer resolves back to AETV. This means that you have somebody posting to our forum, lying about their identity in order to promote one of your events. I am sure that there are much more cost efficeint ways for some employees to garner attention to your event. I do not assume that the employee(s) responsable have done this on the order of the management, but you should be aware that this is happening. I would ask that you consider this matter, and make an effor to stop the Empolyees of AETV from distrubing our community further.
Thanks for your time

As a matter of clarification, the IP address resolved to the firm responsible for administering the sweepstakes, not A&E.
