iPhone Screen Lock PSA

It has come to my attention that [person name-1 redacted] has a habit of butt-dialing [person name-2 redacted] rather frequently. During investigation and angry texts, name-2 learned that name-1 puts the phone away with the screen on ie: not locked. Bumping around in the pocket during skiing produces the unwanted calls. Name-1 tries to explain this by saying that the screen doesn't shut off until the auto-time out takes effect and if the phone gets dialed before locking, the auto-timer is reset.

Here's the PSA: to lock the screen on an iPhone, press the power button once. Do this before putting it in your pocket.

Hopefully this restores the peace.

[person name-1 redacted] and [person name-2 redacted] were out enjoying the skiing this week while [person name-3 redacted] prefers to sit home and make snarky comments on the Internet.
