It snowed all day Sunday which covered the titanium crust underneath for most of the day. Crowds were not insane, a suprise. Goat was closed, my favorite run, but almost everything else was open. The gondi was down until 930 which did cause a bit of a pile up so we headed to Spruce so mrs slug could fly around. Shes still hurting from a tendon tear. Once it got really skied off, as evident by her speed increase we headed to the gondi for a few runs to end the day at 3. 730 to 3, not a bad day.
SB for monday did not work well. The bumps were totaly frozen, the top lifts all on wind hold. We took the bus to Ellen where heavy winds and same conditions relegated us to the groomers. The top lifts were running even with the strong wind. Icy groomers bore more and she was hurting. So we called it early. Raining now as we wait to head to our condo closing. Since im stuck in the east for a while we bought a small condo in town. At least it snows up here and the variety of mountains is great.
And went dog sledding for 1/2 hour last night..cool.
