We have yet to see a snow flake fall in South Eastern Lower Michigan, I hear the Northern Lower Michigan and U.P. had a light dusting but nothing to get excited about like the west and east have been seeing so far this fall. So all we have is Ski Porn and Ski Swaps :)

I copied this from a Michigan Mt Bike Form

"I know there are a lot people on here who do winter sports like snowboarding and alpine skiing.

This is the Pine Knob SKi Patrol's annual fund raiser. I have volunteered with the PKSP for almost 15yrs. Money raised from this event supports our non-profit patrol for the entire season to buy equipment, supplies, maintain training and facilities, etc. It's a great place to snag some fantastic deals on new and used equipment. Some local ski shops even bring left-over inventory from the previous year and rentals/demos. You can save hundreds of $$$ from buying new. Or, get rid of that used stuff you never use anymore in your basement or garage.

I know this isn't MTB related, but consulted a site administrator and said if it became a problem, this could be moved.
