Judging by google maps, looks like the road to BCC and LCC should be fun this am ..........
LCC road closed last night after the majority of day visitors left - 8:30-ish. Stories of 2 - 4 hr trips down-canyon abound. Road reopened around 8:20a, with plow escort above the 7 Turns. The queue started around 6a. Even now traffic hasn't abated much.

Although not retired just yet, not being employed allows me to take weekends off and not deal with the hoards!

Alta Update: LCC road is closed again - estimated opening time is unknown.
From Snowbird:
"Due to slide activity, the road has closed. No estimate time of reopening. If you are on the road, follow the instructions of authorities. More information to come."

UPDATE to the Update: estimated reopening time is 2:30.

More info:
#RoadClosure Alert: An avalanche slide has hit the road near White Pine in #LCCroad #SR210. One vehicle was taken off the road - occupants are ok. @UDOTavy is on the scene and @UtahDOT is on the way. @UPDSL is turning around vehicles at the mouth.

They're not even allowing travel between Snowbird and Alta.

Today in Northern Utah was a circus, Park City had trouble with traffic and opening terrain at the canyons. Snowbasin and Powmow where probably better. I preferred to stay home and ride my snowmobile. Options for weekends include, touring out of midway or the uintas. Cross country skiing the many tracks here in Park City or just staying home. As much as I love skiing lift served it not always worth the hassle. The skiers need to do a better job of mass transit on weekends or heavy carpool. I hope everyone has gotten home safe
