I think he realizes if he does that the war will go to another level and he will lose his remaining allies in the region
These stupid politicians always underestimate their foes
Unfortunately, Trump has learned zero from history. Lyndon Johnson did exactly the same thing with the North Vietnamese and got his ass kicked.
