My friends and I were supposed to be skiing at Ste-Anne for the week-end, but on Saturday PM, while the upper mountain and all the North Side were in a snowstorm, we were told the resort would: A- close half an hour earlier; B- be closed on the Sunday... so we had little options left. Whatever...

We went skiing in Ste-Anne on Sunday. Though 6 trails were advertized, it was really just two, the Paradeuse with artificial snow, and the Féréolaise on natural, with 4 trails leading into it. Conditions were very good in the morning, though traffic was heavy in Paradeuse. As one could guess...

Actually Patrick, that negative impact on other resorts is having a positive effect on environment. Some resorts, as you point out, may fall behind, and even close. Closed resorts' terrain goes back to nature, and just knowing that 500 ski areas have closed in New England (NELSAP....), I'm not...
